兵庫県西淡町の春日神社で十七日、江戸時代中期から続く伝統神事、的射（まとい）の儀があった。悪魔払いや五穀豊穣の願いを込め、相次いで放たれる矢の行方に、見物客らが神妙な面持ちで見入った。射手は同町内の八地区の持ち回り。大将格に当たる男性は、四方天地の悪魔を払う「大舞（おおまい）」を奉納した。
