御嶽（ウタキ）付近の海岸に、大量のゴミが漂着 宮古
平良市狩俣の「ナービダ」と呼ばれる砂浜に、流木、中国語やハングル文字、日本語が記載されたペットボトル、空き缶などの漂着ごみが大量に打ち上げられている。この砂浜には地元住民らが「海の神様」とあがめる御嶽（ウタキ）があり、現在も地元の漁師らが安全と大漁を祈願する神聖な場所という。
